This is a hands-on, highly illustrative and interactive seminar that is being used as the syllabus for an up and coming for-credit college course. We offer two and one day seminars that cover everything from getting started to advanced construction and texturing techniques. Save 300+ hours of stumbling around, asking questions, searching in-world and on the Internet for answers!

$2,000.00 speaker fee plus travel related expenses.

Seminar Materials
Each participant will receive a three ring binder covering the basics of each day's topics, tips & tricks, references to in-world locations of interest as well as a CD-ROM full of textures and scripts.

Continuing Education and Assistance
Any organization that hosts a two day event will receive up to 4 hours of free phone, email, and in-world assistance at no additional charge for the 90 days following the seminar. Additional assistance is available at $75.00 for the first hour and $50.00 per additional hour, billed in quarter-hour increments. Organization hosts are also welcome to have our staff on retainer for only $200 per 5 hours of assistance per month. Please contact us for details and terms.

Instructor
Allan Sturm has been teaching 3D animation to the Digital Arts students of Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona for the last three years. Second Life was a natural extension of his extensive skill set and knowledge in 3D design and his 12 years professional work in the graphic design and communication arts industry.

Host Requirements
Adequate facilities with room for instructor's projector or use of existing projection system, high-speed Internet access, firewall access to SecondLife.com, and desktop or laptop computers that meet or exceed the minimum system requirements for the current Second Life client software.
